	How to Edit Your Biology Directory Entry

Article Editing Your Biology Directory Entry:

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME EDITING YOUR HOME PAGE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST:
1.) Visit the Biology Homepage - http://www.bio.psu.edu
2.) Find the "Log In" link -- it's under the main Biology banner - to the right hand side in the blue bar -- and click it.
3.) If prompted, log in using your Penn State Access ID (e.g. xyz123) credentials
4.) Your navigation bar will change. Right next to where you clicked "log in" you'll find a link that says "My Folder". Click this link.
5.) You will now enter a special editing screen for your homepage. Click the "Edit" tab.
6.) Click the "User Settings" Link right below the set of tabs. [NOTE: THERE IS A SETTINGS LINK, TOO. DO NOT CLICK "SETTINGS"]
7.) Under "Content Editor", please select "Kupu"
8.) Click the "Save" button
9.) Continue on with step # 5 below.

IF YOU'VE ALREADY EDITED YOUR HOMEPAGE BEFORE, USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Visit the Biology Homepage - http://www.bio.psu.edu
2.) Find the "Log In" link -- it's under the main Biology banner - to the right hand side in the blue bar -- and click it.
3.) If prompted, log in using your Penn State Access ID (e.g. xyz123) credentials
4.) Your navigation bar will change. Right next to where you clicked "log in" you'll find a link that says "My Folder". Click this link.
5.) You will now enter a special editing screen for your homepage. Click the "Edit" tab.
6.) Step through the various screens -- you'll be able to edit your publications, CV data, etc. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE CATEGORIZATION, DATES, OWNERSHIP OR SETTINGS areas.
7.) When you are finished, click the "Save button"
8.) Your changes are made immediately upon clicking the "Save button". To view the changes as the public would see them, log out of the website (the "log in" link has changed to a "log out" link -- click it)
